ABOUT THE FACULTY
———

With over 5,000 students and 500 employees, the Amsterdam Law School is one of the larger law faculties in the Netherlands. Students and researchers are fascinated by the workings of law, politics, the economy and justice worldwide. We train lawyers who know how to use the law effectively to contribute to solving social problems.

Law is everywhere
Researchers, students and employees of the Amsterdam Law School have one thing in common: they are socially driven. Our education and research are conducted through projects that are connected to society. Countless researchers speak out in media about a variety of topics: the Dutch childcare benefits scandal, corona measures, the refugee crisis, war: law is everywhere.
