The University of Amsterdam
………
We have four campuses located throughout Amsterdam, which integrate the University with the city. Related academic disciplines are clustered at each campus, joining forces to produce innovative teaching and ground-breaking research.
In this way, the traditional divisions between programmes, faculties, the University and the community disappear.
1.
City centre
campus
………
The City Centre Campus is home to the Faculty of Humanities, which includes both established disciplines and pioneering fields of study. Housed in monumental buildings in the heart of Amsterdam, its unique location underlines the cultural and historical ties between the University and the city.
2.
Roeterseiland
campus
………
On this campus you will find the Faculties of Economics and Business, Social and Behavioural Sciences and Law. Roeterseiland also welcomes students from other faculties to the student cultural centre, CREA, with its café, theatres and studios.
3.
Amsterdam
Science Park
………
One of the largest science campuses in Europe. The Amsterdam Science Park is a hub for research, innovation and entrepreneurship, with major research institutions and about 120 companies and spin-offs, as well as the large University Sports Centre and Amsterdam University College.
4.
Academic
Medical center
………
A meeting place for outstanding scientific talent. Where the medical disciplines collaborate and work together, and students put their studies into practice by working with doctors, nurses and patients.
